Netball is a physically demanding and competitive sport
Due to the nature of the sport, netballers are required to accelerate, decelerate and change direction at high velocities.
This series of programs will improve the player's overall athletic attributes of strength, speed and agility as well as help prevent injuries through exercises that all netballers need to improve their game.
JUNIOR LEVELS - The junior levels are for younger players (around 12 to 17 years).
SENIOR LEVELS - The senior programs are for 18 year olds and up.
Level 1 aims to build stability throughout the body and teach the athlete basic running movement patters and deceleration mechanics. AU$18.00
Level 2 is a sequence on what the athlete learnt in Level 1. The focus is to stabilise the athlete through the ankle, knee and hip region with dynamic exercises.
Level 3 program gets more Netball specific with the introduction of fast acceleration mechanics and aggressive change of direction that replicate the chaotic environment on the netball court.
The focus of these series of programs will target those specific areas that are in risk as well and improving the overall physical attributes that netball players need to take their game to the next level.
Level 1 will build stability throughout the body and teach the athlete basic running movement patters and deceleration mechanics.
Senior Level 2 improves the trunk endurance as a foundation for level 3 and 4 lower and upper body power training. There is a big emphasis in muscle growth and resilience during this level.
Level 4 keeps working on injury reduction exercises while refining your speed mechanics and agility / change of direction. You are sure to be noticed on the court. AU$25.00
After completing all 4 programs, you will be still performing injury reduction exercises and your speed mechanics and agility / change of direction will be noticeably by your teammates.
